Thought for the day!

When Martyn Lloyd Jones ministered at Westminster Chapel, London,an old Welsh miner visited one Sunday. Subsequent to the Welsh Revival, the miner experienced the filling of the Holy Spirit in the Pentecostal movement. When the Doctor and the miner met at the end of the evening service, the Doctor enquired of the visitor’s background and then invited him into his office. Lloyd Jones questioned the miner on his experience, then got down on his knees and asked his new acquaintance to pray for him, saying “Brother, whatever God has got for me, I want it.” That came from a man whose preaching attracted hundreds but who knew his dependence on God. That is humility and hunger for God. May we be open, too!
