Thought for the day!

AW Tozer was born in a small farming community in Pennsylvania in 1897. At the age of 17, he was converted and at 22 entered Christian ministry. He had no formal theological training but was self taught in Hebrew and Greek. His background was not academic. He said that he learned to meditate on Scripture while working in a mundane job. The knowledge of God and of His Word fitted Tozer for his prophetic insights in later life, when he ministered for 31 years in Chicago almost up to his death in 1963. His writing and preaching ministry bore great fruit-and still does today, as we will share together.
Learn to meditate on Scripture,to ruminate, not learning Scripture to use it like a good luck charm, but to feed upon it, to take it in, to digest and ingest it.
