Thought for the day!

Isaiah 48:11 and Stolen Glory                                                                                                            “My glory I will not give to another.” Stolen glory is a problem that the church faces today. A problem occurs when ministers and ministries are looking for worth and affirmation from their gifts instead of finding that worth in and from God Himself.
Very subtly then ministry can become about  ‘us.’ The glory is stolen. We all need encouragement from one another but we are not to get our kudos, or our worth from our ministry or try to prove ourselves in that way. We should keep this as our watchword: “that in all things He should have the preeminence.” (Col.1:19)
