Thought for the day! (lives of the saints)

At the age of 43 Oswald Chambers died of an illness. When World War One started, he felt that he should serve as a Chaplain to the troops. In Egypt, his Sunday talks were avidly attended by men looking for answers. The Bible books he expounded were extremely relevant: the Book of Job, with the call to faith in the face of suffering and Ecclesiastes, pursing the search for the meaning of life. In 1917, Chambers earthly life was ended but for many of those troops, how many had come to know eternal life through his faithful service? Some things will only be revealed at the Last Day…… Until then be faithful.
