Thought for the day!

Psalm 27:8

The command to seek God’s face is not just personal to David but concerned every Israelite.
So today, the command to seek God is not the preserve of church leaders but the privilege and call of every Christian.
“YOU (plural) seek My face.” ‘You, all of you, seek after Me, the living God.’ What if we all did that?
What if we all were zealous to know God better? What if we all sought God in prayer? Soaked ourselves in His Word? Joined a house group? Sought out fellowship? (for God dwells in and among His people) Were zealous for spiritual gifts? Used the gifts that we already have?

All this is not onerous. For His commandments are not burdensome. The command to seek God is for His glory and our good.
