Charles Spurgeon (b.1834-d. 1892) walked to his regular church meeting one Sunday morning. The weather was so bad that he turned in to another church meeting. The preacher was prevented by the weather so a local man filled in. He was not a preacher and kept repeating his text,“Look to the Lord, ends of the earth, And be saved”. The teenage Spurgeon said that morning he looked and was saved. It was the only time that the fill-in preacher preached!! The only conversion that he saw as a result. But thousands became Christians through Spurgeon’s preaching.
Be ready to step in to the breach; you never know what God may do.
