Thought for the day (Lives of the saints)

Charles Spurgeon

A recurring heresy in the history of the church is the claim to sinless perfection by believers. Spurgeon did not suffer fools gladly, so when at a ministers conference he heard a fellow minister claim that he was now sinless, Spurgeon acted. The next day at breakfast he walked behind the man and poured a jug of milk over his head! Spurgeon commented: “We soon found out that he was not sinless!”
